IGO GeeK is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established by a Japanese professional “Go” player Kenro Osawa in 2023.

The purpose of our organization as “IGO GeeK” is to preserve the Japanese traditional culture of "Go" and support its growth through the development of communities by teaching and playing "Go". 

Since “Go” is written as “IGO” in Japanese (pronounced as “e-go”), we decided to keep the name of our organization in the Japanese authentic way. 

We collaborate with Japanese professional Go players from Nihon Kiin to provide authentic and professionally curated educational experience for both beginners and advanced amateur players.
